Glencoe Weather Calendar
When I was reading Glencoe Diary: The war-time journal of Elizabeth Curtis Wallace by Elizabeth Curtis Wallace, I noticed that in almost every entry, Elizabeth recorded the weather for the day that she was writing about. I think it was important to her to have a record of the world, and I wanted to do something with all of the data. I thought a spreadsheet would look nice, and while I initially wanted it to be a fully integrated feature in this site with interactive elements, that was not possible with the technology currently available. Fortunately, the Canva page below does the same job, and it was extremely customizable. Below the spreadsheet is the key for the color-coding system I made. Being able to watch weather trends over time is extremely interesting, and that is why I wanted the data included in this project.
