This exhibit surveys the kinds of documents and materials contained in the Gene Loving/AGL Productions Collection found in the Special Collections and University Archives of Old Dominion University. This collection contains press kits, booking agreements, performer contracts, correspondence, photographs, accounting records and ephemera pertaining to music performances in Hampton Roads, Virginia booked by AGL Productions between 1962 and 1975.
The Old Dominion University Libraries commemorated the 75th Anniversary (2005) of Old Dominion University with an exhibit featuring a history of some of the prominent buildings on campus and people associated with those buildings. The exhibit features photographs and oral histories from the University Archives. The chronology section of the exhibit is updated on a periodic basis.
An exhibit in the Learning Commons in 2012 featured photographs and news clippings from the University Archives and Athletics Department and borrowed from an article by Steve Daniel, former ODU Public Relations Director. View the many faces of Big Blue from the 1970s.

The Special Collections and University Archives of the Old Dominion University Libraries have created an exhibit celebrating the history of diversity on campus. The exhibit features a timeline of social change and notable firsts at ODU regarding all aspects of diversity including, but not limited to, African American history, women's history, as well as the LGBTQIA+ and international communities.
This digital exhibition will break down Norfolk’s integration process and analyze its effectiveness on the representation of Black teachers within Norfolk’s school system. In the end, the evidence will open our eyes to the antithetical nature of Norfolk’s integration plan and how it destroyed Black representation in Norfolk’s faculties.
Russell Stanger: Portrait of an American Conductor celebrates the life and career of Maestro Russell Stanger, conductor laureate of the Virginia Symphony, through photos, program covers, posters, and newspaper clippings selected from the Russell Stanger Papers.
This online exhibition uses materials primarily from the School Desegregation in Norfolk, Virginia digital collection to tell the story of Norfolk's school desegregation and pays tribute to the Norfolk 17, the 17 young students whose sacrifices allowed greater educational opportunities for all children. Originally created in 2008 for the 50th anniversary of the reopening of Norfolk's schools, the online exhibition was updated and converted to this new format in 2021.
This digital exhibit celebrates the presidents of Old Dominion University. Originally created in 2001 as a welcome to Dr. Roseann Runte, it continues to be updated on a regular basis.
