Title
King's Daughters Hospital Home for the Sick Opens
Description
The hospital, located in an 8 room house at 49 Court Street in Portsmouth, is rented by the King's Daughters Society. Due to lack of space, the hospital moves to Emmet Street (present-day Crawford Parkway). The facility is later renamed Portsmouth General Hospital, and after several renovations, permanently closes in 1999
